Radiate Retreat
Nature Yoga Retreat in Nicaragua
Join us at a beachfront jungle lodge in national nature reserve: Laguna de Apoyo
Nestled in the lush crater of an extinct volcano, Laguna de Apoyo is a pristine freshwater lake—forming one of Nicaragua’s most stunning and ecologically rich natural reserves. Spanning roughly 6.6 km across and plunging up to 175 m deep, this sacred body of water was born from volcanic activity about 23,000 years ago. Its warm, crystal-clear surface (80–82°F) is considered one of the cleanest and most therapeutic lakes in Central America.

Surrounded by steep, tropical dry forest slopes, the reserve shelters over 500 plant species and abundant wildlife—from howler monkeys, iguanas, deer, to more than 230 bird species and 220 butterfly species. It’s a sanctuary where nature remains largely untouched, and motorized boats are prohibited—so your paddle strokes on the lagoon gently echo across the crater.

Our week together is rooted in nature, presence, and intentional movement. Each day invites you to deepen your connection to self through yoga, breathwork, guided meditations, and energy healing practices like Reiki and sound bath. We’ll explore the wild beauty of Nicaragua with a hike to hidden waterfalls, a night trek to an active volcano, and paddleboarding across the mineral-rich waters of the lagoon. Between practices, there will be space to rest, reflect, and enjoy nourishing meals, lakeside massages, and quiet moments by the water. This retreat is a return to simplicity—a chance to slow down, listen inward, and let the natural world guide you back to balance.
